Just A Moment...
It all happened in a moment, a most remarkable moment. As moments go, that one appeared no different than any other. If you could somehow pick it up off the timeline and examine it, it would look exactly like the ones that have passed while you have read these words. It came and it went. It was preceded and succeeded by others just like it. It was one of the countless moments that have marked time since eternity became measurable.
Just a moment...
just A moment is the third studio album by the Japanese rock band Ling tosite Sigure released on May 13, 2009. It includes both of their previous singles moment A rhythm and Telecastic fake show.

This particular case opened when I modified an existing MDT Windows 10 task sequence, which was based on VLSC ISO as a starting point and applied all modifications at installation time, to use a reference image. The build & capture task sequence was highly complex and used a wide range of utilities, scripts, and other pieces stitched together into a complex end-to-end deployment process. When I tried to deploy the resulting image, I ran into the dreaded "Just a moment..." loop during he closing stages of Windows 10 OOBE. Besides highlighting what you shouldn't do, this case outlines location of important log files.
The first time I ran into the "Just a moment..." loop I restarted the OSD process because I thought it had hung, but when the loop happened a second time I had to face the disappointing reality that something was going terribly wrong, so I set out to investigate.
I don't think you can do much better than 'recently', beyond that you get into multi-word territory with 'very recently' or 'moments ago' (since dropping the 'just' doesn't really affect the meaning).
While wandering through the Angkor Wat 1000 year old temples, I was awestruck with their beauty and their resilience. They have withstood the test of time. The human mind struggles with time. How ironic that Reuven Feuerstein chose the motto, "Just a moment...let me think" years before smart phones would turn us all ADHD. It was a wise choice for him to make, because it will also withstand the test of time. Only within the walls of a Feuerstein Program will you NOT hear the words, "Hurry up and finish that!" We actually encourage you to slow down so you can be aware of your own mental processes. Just as this beautiful temple has pillars to hold it up, the Feuerstein Program has 28 pillars to support thinking and learning. They are called cognitive functions. Join us at MINDCAP and you can add them to your mind's repertoire. I promise that they will withstand the test of time!
Where do we go from here? The verdict in the Derek Chauvin case may bring a sense of relief, sadness, and hope. Yet, what this verdict should represent is the beginning of a movement that results in racial equity and justice for all Americans and accountability in policing.
I created a TS to install Windows 10 build 22H2, it is working fine. But at the point "just a moment" on Windows stuck it a and go not on. If I shutdown the the machine and reboot again, take a 4 minutes, then is finished.
We did just get a newer modem and I suspect that might be part of the problem and that cable box is a newer one too. But again so far the automated phone systems reboot AFTER they found errors in my system seems to have fixed it. Probably one of their updates caused it in the first place but it is not unusual to receive defective replacement equipment and have to call for replacements of the replacements.
I'm just tired of covid being the excuse that no one can answer the phones anymore. The local store closed because of covid so we would have to travel an Hour one way to get to a physical store. Other companies have agents working from home answering the phones and their stores are still open for business, so the giant XFINITY COMCAST should be able to do the same operators at home and store open but they aren't.
I just received notice of a passing that hurts more than most; F. Michael Faubert was an experienced engineer active in the Engineering Society of Detroit when I was a rookie. I became active in the organization and served with him on a number of committees (including Strategic Planning, if memory serves). He was always thoughtful, gracious, and gentlemanly. I respected him greatly and although we worked in different industries we would come into contact at ESD events. When I organized an Engineers Week event at the Detroit Science Center, he put together a presentation and came to speak. The event was a bomb; I think ten people showed up (at most). He was gracious event though the payoff for the time he invested was minuscule.
March 30 Update: I am glad that I took my own advice...I just learned that my longtime barber passed away in late January. When I'd stopped by for a haircut in February a sign on the shop said he was on vacation (which sometimes meant he was in the hospital)...so I left a message on his answering machine asking him to call me when he reopened. On a whim, I checked obituaries yesterday and found this: -modica-amore.
Sam was a good friend; he cut my hair for twenty-five years (so I saw him more regularly than many of my friends)...he knew my wife and kids well (gave Nathan his first haircut)...and I was often his last customer of the day, so we would lock up the shop and just chat by ourselves. He was a class act and a consummate professional. He'd had progressively worse health issues, so I dropped him a letter about six months ago letting him know how much I appreciated him. I am glad that I did.

But he also says Black men need to do a better job of protecting and elevating the voices of Black women who want to lead the movement for racial justice. Floss says the more voices that are involved, the better the changes will be for everyone.
